It is a fact that a school is as good as its P.T.A. So it is with any Youth Ministry. 
The Youth Ministry of Mt. Calvary has joined forces with the parents of our youth to form:
P.A.L.M. - Parent and Leader Ministry
Palm is a sign of victory and unity.
Through PALM our families, each individual ministry under the unbrella of Youth Ministry and the church body will work together to impact, impart, and impress upon the youth the Will of God for their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit

The keys to building and sustaining a thriving Youth Ministry is to offer tools for

L.I.F.E. (Living Independently From Evil).  

We provide and maintain an umbrella of ministries to support the growth of the entire being,

Spirit, Soul and Body. 

The Youth Ministry and Parents of our Youth have joined forces to create the PALM (Parents and Leaders Ministry) to encourage, support, and provide resources for the entire family.

We nurture our relationship with our youth who attend college away from home by providing them with a list of churches in the area before leaving and staying in contact via email and sending them our “Gifts of Love” quarterly while in school.

Our Youth Ministries fall into one of three categories:  Word, Witness, and Worship.  The ministries which focus on the teaching and studying of the Word of God are:  Youth Bible Study, Church School, One to One Bible Study with Youth Minister. 

The ministries directed toward Witness (Evangelism) are YPD, Daughters of Destiny Mentoring group, Sons of Thunder Mentoring group, Annual Missions Trip, Drama Ministry, and Spoken Word. 

Our young people play a significant role in our Worship services.  They are given the opportunity to lead worship as pulpit participants, they have been anointed and equipped to speak the Word of God and bless the entire congregation.  We offer other opportunities to serve in worship through our Junior Usher Board, age appropriate choirs and dance ministries.

We strive to offer the highest quality of ministry through various activities.  Some of those activities include: Conferences, Leadership Training, Mentoring Sessions, Outings, Retreats, Youth Emphasis Sundays, Youth Month, and TGIF
